Company Background

Conti's Web Applications Suite was envisaged in 2010 by Mr. Virgilio C. Conti who was responsible for the successful implementations of two MRPII/ERP (Manufacturing Resource Planning II/Enterprise Resource Planning) software packages (one developed in the U.S. and the other in the U.K.) in three companies in the Philippines, namely, Mead Johnson Philippines, Bristol Laboratories, Inc., and Interphil Laboratories, Inc.

In these three companies, Mr. Conti was the Manager or Director in charge of the following areas:

Management Information Services

Industrial Engineering

Materials and Logistics Management:

- Production Scheduling

- Materials Planning

- Purchasing

- Inventory Control

- Warehousing

- Distribution.

The MRPII/ERP manufacturing modules (along with the other distribution, financial and accounting modules) that Mr. Conti successfully implemented in these three companies included the following:

- Master Production Scheduling

- Bill of Materials

- Materials Requirement Planning

- Advanced Process Industries

- Inventory Management

- Shop Floor Control.

However, Mr. Conti viewed the Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) module as a major weakness of both the U.S. and U.K. developed MRPII/ERP packages.
